Open Water Course

The course lasts three days and we always try to adapt as far as possible to the availability of the students so that you can combine it with other tourist activities on the island as comfortably as possible.
It consists of three essential parts:
- Knowledge Acquisition: Immerse yourself in the key principles, concepts and terminology that will provide you with a solid foundation to enjoy your underwater adventure in a safe and fun way. Learn at your own pace through our online study material or in an interactive classroom environment.
- Confined Water Practice: Master essential diving techniques in a controlled environment, either in a swimming pool or in waters with similar conditions. Enjoy a series of several mini-training dives, designed to guide you step-by-step through the procedures you will follow on your future open water dives.
- Open Water Dives: It’s time to explore! Apply your knowledge and skills on four exciting open water dives at a local Lanzarote dive site. Immerse yourself in the beauty of the ocean and demonstrate your skills under the supervision of our experienced instructors.
Upon successful completion of the course, you will earn the coveted PADI Open Water Diver certification, confirming worldwide, that you have met all the requirements of the programme. As a certified diver, you will have the privilege of diving to a maximum depth of 18 metres/60 feet, exploring the fascinating underwater world in similar or better conditions to those you experienced during your initial training.
